WUR Dollar Leverage

The WUR funds that are currently received are being used to leverage state and private funds to grow the capacity of U.S. small and medium wood industries as commercialization efforts expand. The WUR Centers report an average match of $2.50 for each federal dollar invested. In FY 2006, $15.5 million of external leverage was provided. The research dollar spent directly benefit U.S. producers and consumers of products made in the U.S.
